WHERE “AT-RISK” BECOMES “AT REST”

At Stark County Family Council, we start with family.

We’re coordinators. On the surface, we help organize care for at-risk youth, bringing together families and service organizations to create a comprehensive plan to restore wellness. But deeper down, we believe that families, united, whole and healthy, form the bedrock of our community.

Organization Collaboration Stark County Family Council
FOR ORGANIZATIONS

We open dialogue between groups that are treating different challenges within the same family, creating a collaborative approach to treatment.

Family Collaboration Stark County Family Council
FOR FAMILIES

We relieve the pressure of trying to keep track of all of the resources available to help kids.

Community Collaboration Stark County Family Council
FOR COMMUNITIES

We provide a public forum for families, organizations and community members to meet on a regular basis to share information, highlight community activities and coordinate planning and program efforts.

We develop, implement and evaluate coordinated responses to issues such as mental health, developmental disabilities, education, substance abuse, child welfare, juvenile justice and more.

We strive for a more integrated approach to managing these issues — one that brings the whole family together and puts hope back in their hands. These services are available all the way from pregnancy and birth through to the age of 22.
