When youth and their families are working with multiple agencies at the same time it can sometimes be overwhelming. WrapAround is a service planning and coordination process that brings everyone to the same planning table and where families are full partners and considered to be the "experts" of their family.
Families eligible for WrapAround services have a child/youth between the ages of birth through 21, with complex needs and at risk for out-of-home placement or who have been involved in two or more of the systems listed below within the last 90 days, and whose needs are not being adequately met and who have reached a level of urgency requiring additional service coordination:
- Mental and Behavioral Health
- Juvenile Court
- Developmental Disabilities
- Special Education
- Children Services
To make a referral or to learn more call Patty Kovacs at the Stark County Family Council office: 330-492-8136 ext. 1480
Funding for WrapAround is provided by the Stark County Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, the Stark County Family Court, Stark County Job and Family Services and the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
