Stark Help Central is a digital resource navigation tool designed to guide members of our community to the resources they need to help youth overcome life’s challenges. The goal of Stark Help Central is to improve behavioral health outcomes for young people with serious emotional disturbances under the age of 25. Topics include basic needs, abuse and neglect, emergencies, mental health, education and more.

This organization assists Stark County residents with a range of services related to economic support and family needs. Services include Medicaid & Medical support, cash & food assistance, childcare & work experience programs, foster care & adoption, child support and more.

STARK COUNTY BOARD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

The Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities exists to connect individuals and families with the services they need for health, safety, education and a high quality of life. The Board supports the 3,900 Stark County residents with developmental disabilities by providing service & support, early intervention, preschool & school age classes, health services, transportation, adult programs and family support.

The Stark County Family Court promotes a safe and healthy community by protecting and supporting children and families. It consists of three divisions: the Court of Common Pleas, the Domestic Relations Division and the Juvenile Division.

STARK COUNTY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CENTER

The Stark County ESC provides shared services to 14 local and 6 city school districts, one exempted village and one career center across three counties, representing 65,000 students. They excel at meeting the needs of a diverse population of students, including providing services such as special education and preschool classes, psychologists and other related service providers, curriculum development and supervision and professional development.
